ABOUT

The Doncaster All Abilities Basketball Competition was developed in 2001 by a dedicated teacher of the Heatherwood School in Donvale.

In that time, DAAB has grown in to 300+ players, 38 team competition with a championship and 6 other divisions.

Sponsored by Bendigo Bank and supported by YMCA Victoria, the competition was designed to provide young people with an intellectual disability and disengaged young people and their families an opportunity to come together and participate in weekly recreational basketball in a supportive social, inclusive and fun environment.

All Abilities is run on Thursday evenings during designated seasons (Autumn & Spring) and is open to young people aged 6 years and up.

Group training is held on Sunday nights throughout the season.

New players and Volunteers are always welcome!
